The authenticity of your artwork, documented.

Every FAES Certificate of Authenticity includes a unique authentication code and is recorded in our Public Certificate Registry, where anyone can verify its validity.

How would you like to document it?

The artwork, or the artwork and the artist's biography.

Artwork

Edition authentication: title, medium, dimensions, date, edition number and total print run, unique registration number, public verification QR code.

Artwork + Artist

Extended authentication: everything included in the Artwork certificate, plus artist biographical record, institutional validation, and a verifiable artwork–artist link.

Registered forever

Blockchain is the most advanced registration method available today for certifying an artwork's authenticity: a decentralized, public, tamper-proof record — independent of FAES as a platform.

Tamper-proof — can't be altered or deleted. Public — verifiable by anyone, no account needed. Permanent — exists independently of FAES. To verify: scan the certificate's QR code or look up its Blockchain ID at gnosisscan.io (Gnosis Chain).

The standard used by museums worldwide

Every FAES Certificate of Authenticity — with or without blockchain — complies with the Object ID standard, the international reference for identifying and documenting works of art. Object ID defines the minimum information needed to identify an artwork, protecting it in case of theft or loss and allowing it to be traced and incorporated into international databases such as Interpol's.

Object ID records: Artist, Title, Medium, Dimensions, Year, Image, Distinguishing features. Adopted and promoted by ICOM, Interpol, and UNESCO.

Common questions about certification.

How do I verify that a certificate is authentic?

Scan the QR code on the certificate or look up its registration number in our Public Certificate Registry. If it has blockchain registration, you can also verify it independently at gnosisscan.io.

What's the difference between Digital and Digital + Blockchain?

Both include a unique authentication code and public registry listing under the Object ID standard. Digital + Blockchain adds a permanent, tamper-proof record on Gnosis Chain, independent of FAES as a platform.

What is Object ID?

Object ID is the international standard for identifying and documenting artworks, adopted by institutions such as ICOM, Interpol, and UNESCO. It defines the minimum information needed to identify a piece and trace it if lost or stolen.

How long does it take to receive my certificate?

After completing your artwork's details, the certificate is issued digitally within minutes. Certificates with blockchain registration are delivered in two stages.
